Noyes' Satellite Gallery in Hammonton
The Noyes Museum of Art opened a satellite gallery on October 3, 2008 on South 2nd Street in Hammonton, NJ. Now well-established, this gallery complements the Museum’s exhibitions in Oceanville by showcasing local and regional emerging artists with an aim to provide visitors with the mechanism to inspire their senses. The space also allows us to better serve the population in the western Atlantic, Burlington, Cumberland, Salem and Camden Counties.
In addition to exhibiting dynamic art, the gallery now offers custom framing for all of your matting and framing needs. With an extensive selection of mats and frames, our professional and knowledgeable staff can help you enhance any precious work of art.
In order to fully engage with the community, our gallery participates in Hammonton’s monthly Third Thursday by holding stimulating events including exhibition openings, artist demos, musical performances, film screenings, and much more. The Noyes Museum staff and board actively support this location and always enjoy working with the Hammonton community. We attribute the gallery’s success and progress to our advisory board composed of members of the Museum’s board, the president of Hammonton Art Center’s board, and the Hammonton community.
Hammonton’s government and business leaders are committed to establishing a downtown area that is inviting to residents and visitors. A new city hall, plus improvements to the streetscape and commercial façades have energized the renovation process and specialty stores, cafés and restaurants are emerging. Hammonton’s New Jersey Transit train terminal and convenience to major highways, including the Atlantic City Expressway, the White Horse Pike and Route 206, place the town in an ideal location to reach thousands of southern New Jersey residents and seasonal visitors.
